What Is Car Key Programming?
Car key programming means pairing a key or fob to your vehicle's onboard computer so it can start the engine and operate the locks. Cutting the blade is only half the job — a modern key carries a transponder chip or a smart-key module that the car has to recognize before it will start. We do it on-site with dealer-level equipment, through the OBD2 port or, on vehicles that require it, from the key module itself. Most jobs take 20–45 minutes from arrival to a working key, and we cover new keys, spares, replacements, and all-keys-lost situations where nothing working is left.
